Community & Recreational Services for young adults with additional needs

A Slice of Life offers fun, quality, empowering activities and weekends away that promote inclusion and build life skills, confidence and dignity to 14-26-year-olds with mild intellectual disabilities and low support needs.
Activities are mainly based in the Sydney metro and the Eastern Suburbs.

We want young people with additional needs to have a social life that’s fun and exciting, where they can find their tribe and have a sense of belonging

The aim is to make friends in a supportive environment and for young people and their families to have some time out.

Activities include

  • day trips
  • adventure activities
  • horse riding
  • kayaking
  • going to restaurants and movies,
  • bush walks
  • bowling
  • seeing bands
  • going to pubs (over 18s only), theatre and special events.

The School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) program is available for for eligible NDIS participants as they leave school and make plans to start work.
